Good to meet you Cassie!!  Can't wait for our longer session!!

Class of 2010 - Jessica {Graham Senior Photography}

I had the privilege of taking Jessica's Senior Pictures a few days ago and, like so many others, we had a great time!!  Jessica was a quick change artist...she brought a bunch of outfits, we snapped some pictures and then moved on to the next one!!  Way to go Jessica!!

I love this in black and white...she's got that model "look"!

You would think that we did the Senior Session in California by the look of things!!  But summer was lingering around the Seattle-Tacoma area and so we didn't have to freeze while taking these shots!  One of the things I really enjoyed about Jessica was her warm and cheerful attitude.  She was up for anything!!

I also appreciated her ability to be playful...I love this one climbing up on some playground equipment!

...and I just had to put this one in!!  I LOVE the laugh!!  I told her to blow on the dandelion, but evidently that flower was not ready to let go.  She huffed and puffed but the flower was not going to cooperate!  It made all of us laugh!

A few by the water and in the sunshine...

LOVE the glasses, Jessica!!!  (Now you could actually see the camera!...Just kidding!!)

Although summer was lingering...signs of Fall were to be found.  We love leaves!!

And lastly....looking like she is from the pages of a magazine!!  Jessica, I am so glad you brought that dress!!  You look amazing!!

Thanks for allowing me to take your Senior Pictures!!  I had such a great time hanging out with you and your mom!!   May this year be AMAZING for you!!!

Class of 2010 - Sarah {Graham Senior Photography}

I had a fun time with Sarah the other day!!  I thought I would start with this picture because not only do I like the colors, but this is one of Sarah's favorite stations!  Love the Funky Monkey!!

Sarah is easy-going and a great conversationalist.  I also think she has great eyes!!

So we met at this little coffee shop down in Ruston and look what we found upstairs...some cool old movie theater seats!!  They were practically begging us to use them as part of our photo shoot!!

Love the yellow...and the little bit of attitude here, Sarah!! I have been wanting to photograph a senior here in front of this tunnel for a while.  The only problem is, every time I am here there is so much traffic...AND the tunnel is super narrow and as they exit, drivers are kind of driving blind.  But Sarah was totally up for it!!  What you don't see is both mom and dad standing guard and yelling at us whenever a car would come!  (And you also don't see the sign that says "No Pedestrians Allowed in the Bridge!!...And technically we weren't it it!!)

Next we headed down to the waterfront.  I LOVE that Sarah decided to wear a dress!!   You look gorgeous, Sarah!!

Cute fun at the beach shot!  I love how her dress compliments those fall colors that are starting to show in the background! the train tracks.  What can I say?  You look strong, amazing and ready to conquer your senior year, Sarah!!

I think this might be one of my favorites.  First, I love her eyes (did I mention that before??) but I also love her skin up next to the wood and the vines growing up the wall.  You look like you could be out of a magazine, Sarah!!

Sarah, I had a blast with you!!  Thanks for choosing Red Thread to do your Senior Pictures!  May this year be full of great times and great memories for you!!

Shannel {Puyallup Portrait Photography}

I was so glad to have Shannel in front of my camera again!!  We did a Senior Session together over a year ago, had so much fun then and this last session was no different!  Shannel is fun to be with and totally works the camera!!

We wanted to do a few pictures for her boyfriend who is in boot camp right now.  She decided to wear a shirt that belongs to offense, but I'm sure she looks cuter in it than him!!

A little message for her boyfriend....

Shannel was good enough to humor me.  I asked her to bring her prom dress so I could take a few shots of her in different venues.  I LOVED the ones in front of the Liberty Theater in downtown Puyallup!!
I only wish that we had more time.....

A little "material girl"...(does anyone remember that video, or am I just revealing my age????)

Shannel....I had so much fun with you once again!!  I always love being with you and hearing about what is going on in your life!  Let's have lunch soon!!
