A Mom and Her Boy {Enumclaw Family Photography}

A child reminds us that playtime is an essential part of our daily routine.  ~ annonymous

I had the privilege of heading out to Enumclaw to photograph a mom and her son.  We had some exploring of new places, some silliness, some wrestling, and some sweet (but quick!) moments.  These perpetual motion machines called boys are always fun to photograph, but when they get with their moms (who are also willing to play a little), it is like MAGIC happening in front of my camera.

We found this old abandoned house right around the corner from their house and I knew instantly that I wanted to photograph them there.  Tristan, however, was not so sure about it.  While I am always on the lookout for snakes and other critters in places like this, evidently he was worried that we that we might come across some *corpses*.  (No more late night TV for you, young man!)

We didn't find corpses, but we did find lots of Mama kisses...

Is this not life with boys???   Sweet moment....

...Wrestling moment....

...Sweet moment again!!

We headed out to a local park and captured them in a boy's native environment!!  (Check out mom's boots though...they are so cool!!)

*LOVE, LOVE, LOVE* this one!!!  This is the epitome of an 11 year old boy!

All I can say is...Tristan ROCKS!!

I had so much fun photographing you two!!  Your adventuresome spirit, coupled with your playfulness and love for each other made it a privilege to hang out with you!!
