Red Thread Kids {My Family}

Last week I got to travel to Denver to be not only a photographer, but a friend, cousin-in-law, and Fairy God-Mother. I've entitled this post "Red Thread Kids" because the eldest daughter in the family and my daughter were my original Red Thread girls, and I was privileged to travel with this family to China to welcome the third child into the ever expanding circle.

(You can check out some more of the story here.)

Now the fourth Red Thread girl has made her arrival....what a great new adventure!!

In order to keep privacy, I won't use their names or a lot of details, but suffice it to say I had a great week of being a Fairy God-Mother!! (And yes...I know there are WAY too many pictures here, but the truth is, I love these girls, and if I could live next door to them, I would!!)

There were bubbles...

...and tea parties...

...and some baby sweetness!

Playing at the park...

...surprises...

...tiny hands and kissable cheeks...

...spinning around in circles...

...and sisterly love.

Now that I've shown all these pictures (because I can't decide which are my favorite) you are going to think all I did was play, play, play!! And there is a little truth to that...

But there was the serious occasion of this little sister's first photo shoot...

...and I believe CS Lewis once said, " Joy is the serious business of heaven."

If that is true...

...then I think I might have been on a business trip where I experienced a little bit of heaven last week!!

I love these Red Thread girls!! I love being their Fairy God-Mother!! I love their mom and dad!! I am six times blessed!!

Aww, Tara these are beautiful. I'm glad to see you are still in the business of capturing little moments of life. And since you caught so many of our great moments in China, I am still and always grateful to you. Blessings,
Kerrie
