Marry Me: Genna and Chad {Seattle Wedding Photography}

Beauty & Strength.
Husband & Wife.
Future & History.
That ampersand brought together a lot of things at the latest fabulous wedding and I am honored to get to tell the story of the day in images!

Getting ready...

I feel a bit like I was photographing a princess.  Genna was a beautiful, timeless, graceful bride!

First look....

We headed on bit of a whirlwind tour of Seattle for the initial pictures.  Pioneer Square...Pike Place Market...and then to Kerry Park.

(Suspenders were worn in honor of Chad's grandfather who recently passed away.)

This was the special guest of the day!  The couple's dog met us at Kerry Park (thanks to the groom's brother) for a little photo session.  I guess the venue doesn't allow dogs :(

You would never guess that behind these doors is one of the most amazing venues I have ever seen.  LOVE the Georgetown Ballroom!!

Though the Ballroom has enough personality on its own, Genna and Chad added a little of their own.  Because of their love of travel, they named each table a city from somewhere in the world.  The guests found their seats by finding their names on a chocolate Space Needle favor and the map on the back of the tag told them where to sit!!  How clever!  They also chose to do a variety of foods that honored their family origins.  So delicious!!

The ceremony....

We headed out one more time after the ceremony with the bridal party.  Bet you can't guess where we went!!  (There were so many great pictures from this time, but these three will have to do for now!)

The reception....

At the end of the evening they let off paper lanterns.  It was a sweet and very beautiful way to end the night!

Congratulations Genna and Chad!  I had a wonderful time at the wedding!  I wish you many, many years of joy and love together!!
